A: All members of the Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Hainan Association are entitled to the benefits of this group personal accident insurance.
A: Any Malaysian citizen of Hainan origin residing in the Selangor and Kuala Lumpur region who is 16 years of age or older, including their spouse, is eligible to apply for membership.
A: Applicants who meet the above eligibility criteria must submit the Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Hainan Association membership application form along with a one-time membership fee of RM50. Upon approval by the Association’s committee, the applicant will be granted lifetime membership.
A: New applicants are required to submit both the Membership Application Form and the Member Group Personal Accident Insurance Application Form. Upon approval of membership by the Association’s committee, the applicant will be entitled to the benefits of the aforementioned personal accident insurance.
A: No, the insurance premiums are borne by the Association.
A: In the unfortunate event that a member meets with an accident, the following insurance benefits may be claimed.

A: Existing members of the Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Hainan Association who have not previously submitted the Member Group Personal Accident Insurance Application Form may obtain the form from the Association. Once completed, the form should be submitted to the Association for official endorsement and for recording the date of submission. The Association will then forward the application to the insurance company for processing.

A: Yes, but it is subject to the insurance company’s policy terms and conditions.
A: In the event of an accident requiring a claim, the member must first notify the Association and obtain the Member Personal Accident Insurance Claim Form from the Association. After completing the form, it should be submitted together with the relevant supporting documents to the Association’s office. The Association will then forward the claim to the insurance company for processing.
Acrobats/Circus performers, aviation/aircrew personnel, animal trainers, explosive ordnance disposal personnel, police investigators, private detectives, divers, manual laborers, oil rig workers, firefighters, horse trainers, jockeys, professional racers or similar activities, military personnel, chemical handling workers, professional athletes, professional entertainers/performers, railway workers, loggers, timber truck/winch operators, security personnel, bodyguards, seafarers, fishermen, high-altitude workers, nuclear/radioactive material handlers, tunnel and mine workers, window cleaners (above three storeys), and carpentry technicians.
